JUNE 3, 2002

 

A Regular Meeting of the Flushing Planning Commission was called to order by Chairperson   Robert Matsko on June 3, 2002 at 7:30 P.M. at City Hall.

                   Jack Owens

                  

Absent:         Walker Fesmire  (Excused)

                   John Olson  (Excused)

Approval of Minutes:         MAY 6, 2002 (REGULAR MEETING)  

 

          MOTION by Bueche, supported by Blackmore, to approve the minutes of May 6, 2002 as written.

Old Business:    SPECIAL USE AMENDMENT – 730 E MAIN ST

                                  (REVIEW WORDING ON 3/4/02 MOTION)

 

         

Discussion:

 

• Mr. Kozan raised a procedural question as to what the Commission should do regarding Mr. Fox’s request to “revisit” the March 4, 2002 motion.  The Commission would like Administration to determine the proper procedure and advise them.

 

 

MOTION by Kozan, supported by Owens, to table this item until information on the

     proper procedure can be researched by Administration.

General Discussion:  DOCUMENTATION FOR MEETING

 

          MOTION by Gault, supported by Bueche, to request Administration to provide

                   supporting documentation on items on the agenda.

Discussion:

• Mr. Gault said he would like to see the official application to the ZBA regarding Mr. Commons appeal on 730 E. Main Street.
