A Regular Meeting of the Flushing City Council was called to order on Monday, January 13, 2003 at 7:30 p.m. by Mayor Janice L. Gensel, followed by the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag and invocation.

COMMUNICATIONS:
MML – 2003 Legislative Conference – Communication was received from the Michigan Municipal League advising of their 2003 Legislative Conference to be held in Lansing on March 26, 2003.
REPORTS:
2003 Genesee County Auction – Motion by Szukhent, seconded by Bade, to dispose of machinery/equipment as listed by administration, at the 2003 Genesee County Auction on Saturday, April 26, 2003 at the Everett A. Cummings Center, 6130 E. Mt. Morris Road.

Resolution – Transportation Improvement Plan – Motion by Szukhent, seconded by Girard, to approve a resolution supporting the Transportation Equity Act and requesting the following roadway segments be submitted into the Transportation Improvement Plan for the designated funding years:
