A Joint Workshop Meeting of the Flushing City Council and Planning Commission was called to order on Monday, June 7, 2004 at 7:30 p.m. by Mayor Janice L. Gensel, followed by the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag and invocation.

MEETING OPEN TO THE PUBLIC:

Elva Cook, 1459 Flushing Road, Jane Forbes, 608 Hut West, and John Glaeser addressed the Council and committee members.

The City Council and Planning Commission reviewed the Capital Improvement Program, which summarizes existing and proposed projects for transportation, recreation, aesthetic/image, building infrastructure and other, along with a Downtown Development Plan update. Attached are the revisions suggested by the Council and Planning Commission members. The document will be revised for final consideration by the City Council.
