MINUTES

 

December 5, 2005

 

A Regular Meeting of the Flushing Planning Commission was called to order by Chairperson   Robert Matsko on December 5, 2005 at 7:30 P.M. at City Hall.

Approval of Minutes:            November 7, 2005 (Regular Meeting)

 

            MOTION by Bueche, supported by Keane, to approve the minutes of November 7, 2005 as written.

            Motion carried.

Old Business:             CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM

 

Discussion:

 

·        Mr. Bow discussed the Capital Improvement Program list items with the Planning Commission.

·        The Planning Commission and Mr. Bow agreed there should be a joint meeting of representatives from each agency with interests in the possible relocation of the library and senior center. (Senior center, Library, Planning Commission, City Council and Flushing Township)

 

Old Business:             PRIVATE ROAD – SCHARRER DR

 

Discussion:

 

Mr. Bow advised the Commission of the status of this application and also addressed the other two private street applications referred to City Council for consideration.  (Council has tabled the other two requests from Fairways East and Golfside Drive for further information.)
